What we collect and why
We collect the checkout email and payment status, your public website address, the business context and objective you choose to provide, and the research and prepared delivery. Payment and order identifiers, timestamps and limited operational records support fulfilment, security, failure resolution and accounting. Stripe handles card details; Answerworthy does not store card numbers.
We use this information to provide your purchased engagement and communicate about it. Submitting a brief or requesting delivery does not subscribe you to marketing.
Your objective and permission
Your optional objective is collected for private founder review. Without your additional permission it is stored separately from automated research input. When providers are available, the brief names them and lets you separately allow AI processing and use of the objective in external web searches. You can leave both choices off. A changed provider list requires renewed confirmation rather than silently extending permission.
Public-site research uses public sources. Do not submit passwords, confidential URLs, preview tokens or sensitive personal information. Your other supplied business context helps scope the Plan; contact Alexander before supplying material that needs special handling.
Systems used for the service
The application and its PostgreSQL database run on our private Abzu infrastructure. Payment is processed by Stripe. Transactional order and delivery messages pass through our Tiamat mail service; external delivery uses Amazon SES in Stockholm (eu-north-1). These messages are not placed in the mail service’s optional content archive, although delivery and operational records are retained.
Research and preparation use public websites and, where applicable, Google PageSpeed measurements and AI-assisted tools from OpenAI and Google. This is not permission to pass your private objective to them: the objective permissions above determine that routing. Optional objective processing names the providers in your brief. Contact Alexander to discuss specific processing or location requirements before supplying restricted information.
Access periods and stored records
Private Plan access normally expires 90 days after creation; historical Read access uses its original 30-day period. A specific link’s expiry governs its access. Download your package to keep using it independently. Historical entitlements are not shortened by this notice.
Link expiry is not a claim that every database record or backup is immediately deleted. Private service records, delivery records and backups can remain after access ends. Contact us for deletion or a specific retention requirement; accounting, security or legal obligations may require some records to be retained. We do not promise an automatic backup-deletion schedule.
Historical Read emails and downloads
No new hosted Reads are offered. For a retained Read, a requested result or download-confirmation email uses its address, request time and notice version. Confirmation links expire after 15 minutes; the essential access cookie lasts up to 30 days while the Read remains available. This is service access, not marketing consent. Read-related access records are removed with the Read when it is deleted.
Optional analytics and cookies
Optional PostHog collection is currently inactive on the production service. Analytics preferences remain available below public pages. If analytics is enabled, it requires your consent and records allowlisted page visits and selected actions using a random browser identifier, not your objective, email, submitted URL, report contents or private access tokens. The configured destination is PostHog EU.
The choice cookie and optional identifier last up to 180 days. Rejecting or withdrawing consent removes the optional identifier and stops further collection. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also disable it. Essential private-download access works with analytics off. For any previously collected data, contact us to request access or deletion.
Protecting private links and exercising your rights
Anyone you share a private result link with may be able to view that result. Keep it confidential. Private delivery routes are excluded from indexing and protected by unguessable tokens and release checks.
You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting alexander@answerworthy.md; we may need to verify that the record is yours. Applicable legal obligations or another person’s rights can limit a request. You can also raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority.
